Hello. I am trying to compile a database of all businesses in a few cities. Specifically, all businesses in the following cities:
Edison, NJ
San Jose, CA
San Francisco, CA
New York, NY
I have an excel spreadsheet which I have attached here with the information that I am looking for. I would appreciate if you could fill that out and return to me in either .sql, .csv or MS Excel format.
As a general note, I am looking to capture ALL businesses, from the categories provided in the excel sheet, in each city, but would definitely need to capture the Indian businesses and Indian communities. A couple of other important things to note:
1) Within each city, there sometimes exists neighborhoods. For instance, in New York city, there are neighborhoods such as Tribeca, East Village, Greenwich Village, Upper East Side, SoHo, etc. I would like to capture which “neighborhood” or “market” the business belongs to within the city.
2) I would like each business entered to be classified under a certain category and sub-category. I have provided a list of categories and sub-categories and would like for you to use ONLY this list. If the business does NOT belong to a certain Sub-Category, then please enter Other. The business MUST, however, belong to one of the Categories that we have provided.
3) If the business belongs to more than one category or sub-category, please show this. For example, in Excel, please add columns to indicate additional categories or sub-categories.
4) For any Indian-owned or Indian-related business, could you please provide any additional details. For instance, if the business is a restaurant (category) and is Indian (sub-category), then perhaps you could provide additional details as to what region of India the cuisine originates (e.g. North Indian, South Indian, Gujurati, etc.).
